This is just ONE of the 40 recipes in their clean eating cookbook and information book for gymnasts!

Check it out here!

1 Serving (to make more, just add the same amount of ingredients to make another)

  • 1 Large Plantain

  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil

  • 1 tablespoon of Honey

  • 1 Teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1 Teaspoon Black Cocoa Powder

Since the skin of the plantain is very tough, it is better to open the plantain in this way:

Make 3 long slices with a sharp knife down the sides of the plantain. Then slowly, delicately peel back the skin.

Slice the plantain in two pieces lengthwise.

In a sauce pan, add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to medium heat. It will melt quickly. Then place the plantain on its backside into the pan.

Cook the plantain for five minutes, then flip the banana for another 5 minutes on the other side.

Place the banana on a plate and add the tablespoon of honey, cinnamon and cocoa powder.

Wait 2 minutes so the plantain becomes softer before eating.

If you want a softer plantain place in foil and close, wait 10 minutes and serve!
